Birnbach Radio focused on assembling radio battery wire and tubing products under the
"Riga" brand name as well as supplying a wide variety of items including plugs,
jacks, insulators, switches, and other hardware items. During the 40s. with the US
entrance into World War II, Birnbach was assigned its Federal Supply Code for
Manufacturers (FCSM) number of 71002. In 1964, the Birnbach Company was purchased by
Milgray Electronics. In 1997, Birnbach was acquired by Almo Corporation. Birnbach wire and
cable products are now exclusively distributed by Almo Wire & Cable. With Birnbach, you do get more much more. In addition to our quality stocked products like hard-to-find international line cords, Birnbach provides a wide range of value-added operations, including custom coloring, striping, twisting, cut & strip, and cutting & printing on tubing and flat cable.
